Hopping on the Vine compilation bandwagon, part 1/?

U can really tell who’s been on tumblr more than four years because we all give up on networks and promos and our blogs become bizarre collections of obscure art and documentation of bad life choices

Please help my film Pigs advance to the next round. The contest ends tonight at 10:59pm pst and we keep getting ahead and falling behind. Please vote for us! I’d be forever grateful!
Sometimes when people are talking to me, I think about how they’re thinking about things. I think about how their brain is registering information and processing thoughts and feelings, just like mine. Innumerable neurons traversing the synaptic gaps of our inner cosmos, a chaotic electric cloud somehow manifesting as our individual selves… Then I ask them to repeat what they were saying because I wasn’t listening.

Hello world!
Life has been crazy! I graduated college in May and the next day my bf and I hopped on a plane to France to the Cannes Film Festival because our film was accepted into the SFC area there. It’s not a huge deal, but it was nice to be able to get passes to the film festival. We saw a bunch of film premiere and even walked the red carpet, which was so bizarre. So many photographers lined up. We also ended up being extras in a film some random night in Cannes. Then spent a couple of days in Nice and Monaco.
Then, headed home, came back to San Diego, and headed back home because my best friend had her baby! It was so crazy. Life’s been a whirlwind. So many experiences in a short time and now it’s almost July.
Our senior film project is now complete and I have to get ready to submit it to festivals.
I’ve only been out of college for a little over a month and it’s utterly terrifying! I’ve had so many post grad questions from friends and relatives and it’s really depressing to say “I have nothing lined up.” Yes, I’m working on two film projects, albeit, non paid, for now, but it’s still depressing because indie films in a hard business to make money on and even harder is getting into “hollywood.”
I’m blabbing. So many thoughts, so little time. So I plan on staying in San Diego and staying at my current job, making money, possibly getting a second job because of all the free time I will now have +loans in 6 months, and just save up to make the big move to LA. Who knows, maybe I’ll find a job in San Diego before then or I’ll get the job of a lifetime and travel and film concerts or something.
Or maybe I’ll abandon my degree, which isn’t totally needed in my industry, and take another route.
There’s always so many possibilities and it’s crazy how little things shift in depending where it leads.

ohmygod

I’m probably gonna be posting this a lot, but I’m currently in my last semester of film school and money is hard for us since we have been funding all our short films from the beginning in time. We want this last film of our college careers to be as great as we can make it and with your help, I think we can.
I encourage you to help my team and I out and in return I will add your name as a special thanks to credits of our film. There’s more info in the link provided if you’re interested in more.
If you’re more curious, I can hook you up with a link to a film we worked on last semester to get a better understanding of what we’re capable of doing.
No I didn’t start crying at this point shut up
Too beautiful not to share, gee wiz.
